I am Sisheka Subba; the meaning of my name is Monsoon in my ethnic language, which’s limbu. I believe gender equality should be there in terms of equal opportunities and status in society and the workplace. Being the elder daughter of my family, I know the responsibilities and duties I have to keep up with. I have to be my younger siblings role model and guide them towards good karma. Likewise, I have always wanted to participate in such beauty pageants to become role models for youths out there who feel insecure about themselves and think they are not worth anything. I want to become the voice by becoming a public figure and inspiring them to become who they are and not to give up on life. So, if I become Miss Grand International Nepal then I will set an example of what happens when you don’t give up and love the way you are!
